Let’s Talk About Health
Learn more about the right weight for you and how to eat healthy. The number one example for bad eating habits is the holidays, where we all in some form or fashion become sinners by committing gluttony. The celebration of these monumental events involves foods that are high in fat and sugar and short on nutrition. You have to be in control of your health. And very importantly, you need exercise and discipline.

Reverend Henry Roosevelt Delaney, Jr. is celebrating 50 years of Ministry and the legend continues. In 1989 the Thomasville, GA native was assigned to the St. Paul CME Church (Savannah, GA) and presently the church has one of the largest CME congregations with 5000 members.
Ministries like the Hallelujah House, a drug rehabilitation ministry for men, along with the Chestina, a recovery home for women and Horace Magwood Breakfast Ministry, which feeds the homeless each Sunday, were conceived through Rev. Delaney at St. Paul, as well as a Boy's and Girls Academy.
This awesome vessel of God has received many degrees, accolades and honors, but his most important honor is winning souls for Christ. Rev. Delaney is married to the Rev. Ethel Y. Delaney and she is the pastor of Faith CME Church. |

The Southeastern 1st Lady’s Conference 2008
MWM Ministries is pleased to present to the southeastern part of the United States a 1st Lady’s Conference just for senior pastors’ wives. What do you do when you don’t know what to do? This is a recurring question that’s often times asked by pastors’ wives and to much avail there’s no answer that is soothing enough to minister to those women that seek God in all they do but don’t know what to do insensitive matters or situations they may encounter being married to an apostle, bishop or pastor.
The Southeastern 1st Lady’s Conference will e held January 11 & 12, 2008 in Savannah, GA. If you are available we are interested in having you grace our conference for a time to heal, bond and meet new acquaintances.

The Wake Up Call
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This disease such as many like it is not something to be ignored and our awareness should not end when this month is over. Statistics state “Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States”. |
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
RSVP volunteers, age 55 and over, are gaining new friendships, staying active and learning new skills, while making a difference in their community. Choosing their own scedules they provide hundreds of community services, such as:
-Tutoring children in reading and math
-Providing Companionship and Friendly Visits
-Serving in clerical capacities
-Operating gift shops for hospital
-Participating in neighborhood watch programs
-Delivering Meals
-Taking blood pressure checks
-Helping community organizations operate more efficiently
In addition RSVP members receive the following benefits: Pre-Service orientation, On-the-job training and Supplemental insurance while on duty.
Make a difference and also save money for the organization you serve by donating your time and skills. |
